All our clear glass kitchen splashbacks are made with toughened 6mm glass. This makes them perfect for use close to a heat source such as a cooker or hob.
Clear splashbacks are a great solution for those who want to protect their kitchen walls from splashes and spillages, but want to continue to show off the original wall materials such as tile, brick or paintwork. Glass splashbacks are also easier to clean than painted walls and will not stain when covered in a variety of substances like grout would for example.
Why Clear? A clear glass splashbacks means you can choose your own backing behind it or they allow you to preserve the original surface from wear and tear in high wet/dirt areas. You’re in control of what is behind the glass. Our clear glass splashbacks allow you to acheive the look of a luxury stone or glass splashback, at a fraction of the cost and being extremely DIY friendly make it possible for everyone.
Other options would be to display and preserve exposed brick, use a print or art work you have created or purchased, paint a mural, used recycled timber (or make your own aged timber). You can basically use anything you like as long as it is flat.
Why Removable? Not like traditional glass splashbacks, our splashbacks can be easily removed. This is great if you want to change the colour or background design.
Why pin fixed? We have chosen to use a screw & cap fixing system as it makes the Glass Splashback so easy to install. You do not need to use any glue or silicone so no messy clean-up or skills required. With a little pre-planning, a DIY Glass Splashback can be one of the easiest projects you have completed.
